Hi. Let's talk about telemarketers. If you are sick and tired of telemarketers calling your house and/or cell phone (who doesn't) during dinner time or during the day, you could do what I do. Put your name and number on "Do Not Call" lists. Registration is free.
Here are some sites:
National Do Not Call Registry: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
Do Not Call Program: https://www.madonotcall.govconnect.com/Welcome.asp
You could also do a search on google for more "Do Not Call" sites to register on. Also, whenever a telemarketer calls, request politely to take your name off the list. Being rude to a telemarketer will only cause them to retaliate and not oblige to your request.
*Important* Next time you purchase things off the internet or at the stores where the cashier asks for your home phone # for "survey purposes", do not give out your phone number! Instead, give them your private phone number you registered for online called Private Phone (http://www.privatephone.com). Registration is FREE! Use this number to avoid unwanted calls such as telemarketers and pranks. When people call, they will think they called a regular phone number and will end up getting your voice mail. This way you never hear your phone ring. And when you receive a voice mail, you will receive an email notification and you can check your messages via telephone and add your own personal voice mail.
Hope this helps! If you find this information useful, forward it to your friends and family!
