when you can't decide on which to choose, do you use the method: "e-nee mi-nee my-nee mo..." & so on so forth? let fate decide. LOL I do sometimes. ^__^

Come to think of it, I still do that. My husband makes fun of me because I look childish. I have to resort to that stuff when I can't think straight and I need to choose right away. Funny, but I can't break the habit! (LOL)

hahaha! I guess a habit can't be easily broken. ^__^ I usually do that whenever I'm torn between 2 items that I like but I could only afford one. ^__^ helps me everytime.

Come to think about it: I do! Especially in child day care when two kids want something and can't be convinced to share or take turns.

yah... it really helps when you just couldn't decide & either of your choices is okay for you. it just makes choosing easier. without so much thinking & arguing with yourself. ^__^;;

if the choices are writtten...i usually do the "cover your eyes and point" method, esp during exams... i also use a similar version of "e-nee mi-nee my-nee mo" but i use my name and the last syllable would be my choice...or the name of a friend of mine who had a long name....

Not me, but don’t remind me of it. My son does it all the time, even when he is about to start an exam at home and he has to pick up a pencil! He does it at shops when he has to choose which chocolate he wants (basically he wants all) and I have to bear the shopkeepers irritated looks. I know about enee menee uffffff!

I just go back and forth with yes and no questions. the most with yes answer I will take it. it's very complicated when there are so many options, but it works well with just 2 options

i know! its easier to decide when you have limits, less options. its harder when you are faced with a lot more. ^__^;;

Hi secretbear! Yes I do that sometimes. Only in situations that doesn't need too much thought and something not so serious, it is easier that way ... LOL ... =)

I use another way to make a choice.For my friends and I, we have difficulty to choose which restaurant we should have lunch in at noon every day.Because there are many nice restaurants around our campus but making a choice is really hard. So we write the name of restaurants on a piece of paper,then put all papers in a small box and ask one person to pick one of it from the box.The name on the paper is the restaurant we will have our lunch in.^__^

that's a good way shinji. ^__^ since you are all students, i'm sure you carry a pen and a paper everytime so its easy for you to do that. but i don't carry a pen and a paper everyday so i resort to ee-nee-mee-nee-my-nee-moe. ^__^;;

I did the same as you, if you don't have pen and paper there is a solution. Start eating at that restaurant everyday, try out all the delicacies. Soon you will feel sick of eating at that restaurant and automatically go to the next restaurant.

Hi, I just toss a coin or otherwise I just close my eyes and touch one from those. Usually I just toss coin or just ask some to just touch any of my fingers.

tossing a coin is really more fair but you only have two choices there, for the head and tail. ^__^

its really funny but its helpful when you can't decide!. ^__^ I just used this last saturday when we went to the mall. I couldn't choose between 2 belts. they were both pretty & I just couldn't get them both. ^__^ I bought the one with a butterfly buckles over the flower-decorated one. ^__^

I usually flip a coin to decide a situation, I guess that is using fate because which ever side wins gets the prize, I also find it more fair especially when it comes to the children because they know I have no control over where the coin may land.

yeah, that's a good way to be fair. I guess toss coin is the most popular way of choosing between two choices. since it only has the head & the tail. that's probably why it is widely used in sports to choose who will start. ^__^

I never do this alone, but when my sister and I have to decide who had to do something, then we use a coin or "rock, paper, scissors" or "even or odd" xD
