Do You Know of Anyone Who is a Hero??

Do you know about someone in your neighborhood or close by that by his/her actions saved someones life? What actions did they take?

I live in a very small community where all of our firefighters and ems personell are volunteers (including my hubby). To me, they are all heroes. When something happens, they drop whatever they are doing to answer the call. I can't even imagine how many lives have been saved by these brave men and women.
