I just did LOL I think I had too much coffee to drink last night and couldn't get to sleep. I watched "Notes on a Scandal", "Because I Said So", "Freedom Writers" and now watching "The Devil Wears Prada" LOL and I am still wide awake after nibbling on peanuts, crackers, made another pot of coffee and now munching on some health nut bars :P

I can't watch more than one movie at a time. I get bored really easily and usually just fall asleep. In fact, 50% of the time I fall asleep at the movie theater... I think there is something about watching a long movie that makes me sleepy lol Plus I gotta have the lights out when I watch movies, so that doesn't help.

He gets off work in 4 minutes, thank goodness. Yeah, I'm horrible at the theater, unless I go before like 6 o'clock.

Hello maddy. I can't, for the life of me, remember when was the last time I watched a TV show, DVD or CD. I forget all about TV when I entered this community. Since then, I've been pretty hooked staying online. I always stay awake the whole night posing, responding, commenting and chatting with friends. By early morning, I will hop in to my cozy bed to catch up some needed sleep. :)

Since I am a full time working mother, I cannot afford to stay up all night just to watch the DVD, TV or Video. Everyday I manage to have about 1 hour for myself after 10 O’clock in the evening to watch TV; read or response Mylot. Then I have to go to bed at about 11 so that I can get up early in the morning. :-)

Wow! That must have been one phenomenal cup of coffee. Same thing happened to me yesterday. I drank tea too late and stayed up till 9 AM. It was not very pleasant. But, at least I got some My Lot work done. Last time me and my husband had a DVD night was when our daughter was four months old. We watched two very long movies back to back and called it quits at 6 AM. When the birds started chirping and the baby started stirring, we realized our days of leisurely TV watching had come to an end. That was three years ago! And, I don't think we've had time to see a decent DVD since.

I remember a time where I also had this feeling, doing everything I could to get myself to sleep. But I guess my sensse are too awake, maybe because of a food or vitamin I took. I read books, watched movies on cable televisions but didn't even helped me. As for your case, I think it's either the coffee or the energy bar that kept you staying awake. Not to exclude the movies you've been watching, because sometimes the intensity also affects your mood!;)

I totally agree! I think its also because my hubby is away at the moment so its not the same when he is not home, especially at night. Thanks for your response raijin!

Hi easy888! I usually do this sort of thing in the weekends, but for some reason I could not go to sleep. Once i finished one movie I thought, why not one more, then one more and then another. Next thing you know its morning time LOL thanks for your response!

hey great to hear from someone in EST time zone. It's been awfully quiet for me this side of the pacific, mylot wise at least. i loved devil wears prada. Ugly betty reminds me of that. great story backdrop. i think i watched notes on a scandal too. great acting huh? This only happens to me on planes when i can't sleep cos it's too uncomfortable, then i watch like 4 shows in a row till my eyes give way from the darkness and small screen.

I do that a lot, even on workdays. I watch DVDs mostly of TV series and they're at least 16-20 hours worth of viewing time..I get addicted and I make sure I finish it all before I sleep, or else I wont be able to sleep..LOL
