used a Cabbage Patch lunch box in the third grade. I loved it! I I used to feel so special because all my friends wanted one. As time passed and I grew older I frequently changed my lunch box at least one every school quarter.
I used such characters as The Smurfs, and Care Bears an of course the Muppet Babies.
Eventually when I got to Junior High, I gave up all the characters unwillingly…lol…
How about you, what did you use as a child lunch box or paper bag?Feel free to tell your stories:)

i had both..it really depended on whether or not they remembered to clean the thermos LOL
days where i was given soup i usually got the box so there was somewhere for the container.it was better anyway, cause we had kids who liked to smoosh other kids' lunches just to be jerks.

From what I can remember our lunches were wrapped in gladwrap and put into plastic bags for us to carry to school or to go into our school bag. The plastic bags that bread comes in, was also used as lunch bags. Not flattering but it worked LOL

My mom used to wrap my sandwiches in special wrapping paper. These bags were invented when I was in high school. There was no plastic on the market. So I got a sandwich and a piece of fruit like an apple every day to take along for school. Schools did not have cafeterias in these days not either.
