Am I taking up a course where no one recognizes outside Philippines?

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering is my field but sad to say companies outside the boundaries of the Philippines doesn't recognized because the two fields (Electronics and Communications) are different, they should not be fused. Any insight to my degree I took up?
