Have you ever got engrossed in any book so much that you could not put it down. Some books are so gripping, such as those by Ludlum, Ayan Rand.

I read that book in pdf form on my computer, the only book that I have read this way. but I enjoyed it a lot. I even went and checked some of the facts mentioned in the book, like the face of the person next to Jesus Christ in the Last supper painting.

That's the way I felt when I read Anthony Kiedis' Scar Tissue last year. I read it nonstop for four days. Unfortunately, though, I don't get that feeling very often anymore; maybe my expectations have risen, or I'm just too busy to spare the time. Usually now I just read books when I'm waiting to meet someone, or just wasting my time at the park; but either way, it's still difficult for me to lay my mind off my worries.

yes, some books should be savored like good food, make them last for another day, but you need very strong will power to put down some books.

I read many English novels. Most of them wonderfully written. They taught me many things about the world, people, character, etc., Only one book I read without even taking my food is "GOD FATHER". After completion of the noval I had the feeling, if I did not read this book, I would have missed something in life. It is really wonderful novel. The description of character, basic story theme are all best.

Yes it is a great book, you would have missed a great novel if you hadn't read it, I feel that way about many bestsellers that I have read when I even forget to eat.

All most all of the books I read it is like this for me. But the one book that I can remember that was the worst for me was the 6th Harry Potter book. I ended up sitting up all night reading becauses I did not want to put the book down. I think I finally went to be at like 3am that night.

Great, I have done that many times when I lived in a hostel, but at home my mom usually made me sleep before 12. So you love to read so much, that you can give up your sleep?

Hi dbhattji, One of the few books that got me hooked was Stephen KIng's "Salem's Lot" that i could not put down and finished it in one night that left me scared stiffless! You might want to visit http://myden-myden.blogspot.com to read about a reader's experience with Stephen King's books. Regards.
