Have you ever got engrossed in any book so much that you could not put it down. Some books are so gripping, such as those by Ludlum, Ayan Rand.

That's the way I felt when I read Anthony Kiedis' Scar Tissue last year. I read it nonstop for four days. Unfortunately, though, I don't get that feeling very often anymore; maybe my expectations have risen, or I'm just too busy to spare the time. Usually now I just read books when I'm waiting to meet someone, or just wasting my time at the park; but either way, it's still difficult for me to lay my mind off my worries.

I read many English novels. Most of them wonderfully written. They taught me many things about the world, people, character, etc., Only one book I read without even taking my food is "GOD FATHER". After completion of the noval I had the feeling, if I did not read this book, I would have missed something in life. It is really wonderful novel. The description of character, basic story theme are all best.

All most all of the books I read it is like this for me. But the one book that I can remember that was the worst for me was the 6th Harry Potter book. I ended up sitting up all night reading becauses I did not want to put the book down. I think I finally went to be at like 3am that night.

Hi dbhattji,
One of the few books that got me hooked was Stephen KIng's "Salem's Lot" that i could not put down and finished it in one night that left me scared stiffless!
You might want to visit http://myden-myden.blogspot.com to read about a reader's experience with Stephen King's books.
Regards.
