I left last night a couple hours early getting my wife as I was bored. So I went all over the Minneapolis area taking photos and getting ideas for discussions in the future. This is one that came from these photos. There is a Paddlewheel boat line called Mississippi Queen. "The 125 passenger Minneapolis Queen, a brand new paddlewheeler, offers public and private cruises on the Mississippi River through historic downtown Minneapolis." I have been on this one time years ago. I keep waiting for the wife to get some time off so we can go on a night cruise together. Here's a photo of the boat I took at it's departure point at Boom Island. Will add other photos from Boom Island in responses I recieve. It's a decently priced cruise also. They park in the river during the 4th of July downtown fireworks disply. I wished my wife had that day off but alas. Anyhow heres a link with more info on this cruise trips and ships. Enjoy.

It's all about the paddle boat that hubby and family and I went on right after we got married. It was in Lake Tahoe, and the cruise was awesome. We even got to see a family of eagles in their nest as we cruised around Emerald Bay. Hubby just informed me that the Tahoe Queen had to be transported to the lake in three separate pieces and then reassembled. I can't wait to go there again and go on one of their dinner cruises.
