Gas finally went down a little bit around Wisconsin - $3.06 locally. Milk prices are supposed to go up and with a toddler, that kind of sucks. I think it is around $3.00 now. What are some of the gas prices and milk prices else where? Other rising costs?

Our gas has been slowly going down the last month. It is down to 2.89 today. Milk is holding around $3, but on the news the other night it said it could go up to as much as $4.15 a gallon. We are on the WIC program, so we get a good bit of milk free, so that shouldn't hurt us too much till our WIC changes.

I have no idea what the milk price would be here in the Seattle area. My husband and I don't drink milk, but I will be able to answer that question in about a week or two when my son starts to drink milk instead of formula! Gas prices are around $2.95 but there are some places where you can get for as cheap as $2.89! It's so nice that it has at least gone down almost a whole dollar now! Saves quite a bit of money! Yay!

I remember when I first started driving in 1998 gas was only like .88 per gallon! I could fill my tank for $8! I would love for it to go back to that price eventually, but I know it never will. Oy! Evil gas people!!!

It did go down to $3.01 at a couple gas stations around here. I'm surprised it was going down a little right before the 4th of July weekend. Milk, however, is now over $3.00 for whole, $2.99 for 2% and a little less for 1%. Almost for for a gallon of milk than a gallon of gas.

Well, I hope ours will go down a little more too. Under three dollars would be nice, but $2.00/gallon would be really nice.

Gas here have finally went down to around 2.75-2.89. Now I wish our milk prices would go down. Store brand of milk costs around 3.19- 3.29. Luckily, Food Lion stores has the buy 6 gallons get one free gallon til Aug 7th. Tomorrow I get to go and cash in my coupons and buy another gallon. We go through a lot of milk. Now the non brand of milk is actually up to 5 dollars a gallon. I'm sorry I don't see myself paying 5 dollars for something that don't last that long in my house. Also I noticed was the price of eggs, store brand for a dozen is almost 2 bucks. That's up there with the price of milk, sad to say.

I did see the price of milk go from $3.19 back down to 2. 99, then it shot back up again. That's the store brand, Purity milk is ripping people off at 5 something a gallon. We use a lot of milk, so going to Food Lion and using the milk tickets helps. At least after 6 gallons of milk, I will get a gallon for free.

That's crazy for a gallon of milk. I always buy the store brand milk because I can't imagine there is really a difference. Crazy how gas is getting a little cheaper and milk is skyrocketing.

Gas here in western PA is about 2.95, I can't be sure about milk....3 something though. With the rising prices in gas you can expect the prices in just about everything to go up eventually. I mean what product is there (other than local ones) that don't use gas or fuel. I wish I could go back in time and buy a ton of gas.

I can't even remember the days when gas was really cheap - like under a dollar, I think. I'm only 22 and remember just last summer when almost $2.00 a gallon was scary.

I can remember driving back and forth from school about 2 or 3 years ago and people were freaking out because gas was going up to 1.60....Little did they know the worst was yet to come.

It's scary because who knows what it could look like in the next couple years.
