If he/she/it does, would you be offended if someone decided to call your god by the opposite gender? Basically trying to form "god" into their own box and make them fit their lifestyle rather than submitting their life to the god they choose to believe in?

I follow the Norse pantheon so therefore I have many Gods some are female and some are male. I respect other peoples beliefs, if they want to think of their God as male or female then thats up to them, as long as they leave me to my beliefs.

God has no gender in the way us humans do, but remember that He is called the Father in the bible. So "he" would be our closest bet. "She" cannot be a father. So as I understand it, us humans are given His characteristics (we're made in his image and likeness) and it's like God defined certain characteristics by gender...but God Himself is complete. He has both the characteristics He gives to women (passionate, loving, caring, nurturer, etc) and he has those He gives to men (strong, defender, etc). So he is neither man or woman, but he is the Father.

In my belief the greatest power has no gender but the gods and goddesses are ways to better understand the gnosis.
