potty training

my son will be 3 in november and i am haveing trouble potty training him. he will pee in the potty sumtimes but i cant get him to do the other at all. my daughter did it all on her own when she was 2 1/2 so thank god that one was easy. what can i do?

Remember that boys are a lot harder to potty train than girls so don't be too hard on yourself. I started potty training my son around the same time and it was the hardest thing that I've done so far as a mom. You need to figure out about when he poops. Then you need to sit him on the toilet at those times. Keep doing this everyday. You need to start doing this at a time when you'll be able to stay home all the time. Otherwise, it's not really going to work. Eventually he'll go. Good luck! You'll need it!
