If you want to save child, you should save the mother first, as the health of mother relates with the health of the new born or unborn child. Do you belive it as true or false?

Yes it is the mother to be saved first in such situation as she is the source to have other baby next time and i do agree wit your discussion.

I know that when I had my 2 yr old they asked my hubby if they had to choose who did he want them to save. They wanted to ask him without me but I wouldn't leave when they asked me to. I told him that I was interested in his answer and said that I wouldn't get mad just I was wondering what he would choose. He and I both decided that they needed to save me and make the baby 2nd priority because he had never even been around a baby. I told him with my youngest daughter and this pregnancy that they need to try to save me first and then the baby if they had to choose because he won't be able to take care of them.

The mother always comes first. Not sure why, but in the medical field if there are complications with a birth, the mother is practically always tended to first. Not that the baby isn't as important, but the baby wouldn't even be there without the mother. The mom also has relationships, friends, probably a career.. a life, in other words and it'll be harder to deal with her passing than a newborn baby. Though threatening complications to either mom or baby during pregnancy, is always so sad - no matter which party is being affected the most.
