How old is your car?

My car is almost 19 years old but since I have worked at home most of the time I have had it, it has very low mileage on it. I have taken several long trips in it, one last fall. So far it is holding up well with only a few things needing replacement like the radiator and a door lock. It is a Honda Accord. Anyone have an older car that is their primary means of transportation?

My car is new. Well it's used but pretty new. It's a 2006 Mustang. My husband thought that he just had to get it. Boys with their toys!!

Mine is a hatchback so it looks fairly sporty. I had a real sports car before it, a Datsun (Nissan) 280zx; it was fun to drive.

my car is six years old and so far i never had any problems with hit. In fact, I have a good quality car. It doesn't break down. It is a Toyota and I always think that they have been good quality cars and they are the one to have if you are interested.

I like my Honda and will keep it as long as I can. It gets decent gas mileage, still looks good and runs well. Now, I just hope I haven't jinxed it.

I bought a SEAT Ibiza last year brand new. I am happy with it. The car I had before was a VW Polo, I bought that one brand new, too and I had it for 13 years with no problems. When I gave it to the dealer he said it would be exported to Russia as where I live there are strict ecological laws. This car was in very good mecanical condition and didn`t have any rust spots not either. I am glad that somebody in Russia still has a use for it.

Never heard of the SEAT Ibiza, I guess it is something we don't get here in the US. The almost 19 year old Honda I have now is the oldest car I have ever had and the longest I have kept a car. Usually before this I would get a new one after 8 years. I did get a new one after 1 year once because someone offered to buy the 1 year one at a price I couldn't refuse.

My truck is 15 years old. That is our newest vehicle. My husbands everyday driver is 21 years old. I think as long as you take care of the car it will treat your well back.

The truck is the first response that is older than my car. I never had a car more than 8 years before this one, so far so good.

My car is now 6 years old. I got it last year directly form germany. Since I like german cars and previously i owned a VW Golf III, I choosed the VW Golf IV. It is with a 1.9 TDI with 150hp. My friends couldn't belive that a diesel car has so much horsepower. But after a few test drives they changed their mind. Some of my friend call this car ar diesel sports car :D

I got you beat. I have a 1978 Mercury Marquix, with low milage. Its still in good shape, looks good and runs like a champ. With gas as expensive as it is, it doesn't go for many joy rides. The car is my primary means of transportation too.
