Im freaking out!!

Ok as some of you know i am currently pregnant with twins. YAY!! well since 2 of my aunts, my sister and my cousin have all been pregnant and have all lost there babies. miscarried =( well my cousin has gotten pregnant again recently and everything is going great! YAY! my sister just went to the doctors and also found out that she was again pregnatn YAY! BUT she was pregnant with twins one twn didnt develop at all and is called a "vanishing twin" (google if you want more info) but its pretty much when two babies are concieved and one doesnt survive past 8 weeks and the other baby uses its nutrients and then the twin just vanishes into the uterus and after months you wouldnt even know it was there. I feel bad for her 2 losses in less then 4 months.
Well im freaking out because i went to the doctors to hear the babies heartbeats and we very faintly only heard one. the doctor didnt seem too concered she told me they were stuck in my pelvis and that everything was fine. BUT what if its not?!?!?!
All the tragedies that have happened to my family. i dont think i could handle one myslef...
i have to stay calm stress free. so im venting . any words of comfort would be greatly appreciated.

A girl in my office just had two baby girls, beautiful twins, and had the same problems as those you are discussing now. After a few months, you could hear both heartbeats clearly. In fact, the first ultrasound only said one baby was in there. A month later, while in the hospital for some blood loss, they found the other baby! Don't worry yet. That will only make things harder. I will keep you in my prayers!

If the Dr says everything is fine, then to keep yourself from going insane, you need to believe her.
She knows what she's talking about & i'm sure she'd have mentioned something if there was even the slightest chance of a problem - even if she didn't mention anything, she'd have sent you off for tests, which she didn't.
Just enjoy the fact you're still carrying twins & try to stay calm, at least until 12 weeks are over, things should be more safe after then! The high risk is the first trimester so if you can get past then, you'll be ok!
Try not to freak out at all, try not to even think about the pregnancy, just do your usual thing, enjoy what time you have left to yourself & things will be fine!

thank you for your kind words and wisdom. I am past 12 weeks actually the dy of the appointment i was 13 weeks. Ill try my best not to freak out but i cant guratee it

Hay,dont be foolish it is not the compulsory that everyone should face the same problem every time in the same situation ,its all the nature of once body and doest compare your elf with others be brave and have faith in god yiou will have two lovely and cute babies ,all the best and be brave and keep praying the God everytime about the welfare of your kids. dont stress yourself. just beacause it happened then dont mean it will happen to you. i always say dont worry about it until you know. best of luck.
