Duplicate categories within mylot

i just noticed that inn "my interests" i have 2 computers category. Its the same name but different "choice" for lack of a better word.
there is "computers(1201)" and "computers(3967)"
apparently one is more popular than the other.
i think mylot should stop allowing anyone to start their own category and stick with the set ones.
this is so confusing.
anyone noticed this?

I think it occurs because people are allowed to "choose" an interest within a category as I call them such as TV shows say and they have a different name for it, for example there are two separate interests for a paricular TV show just because one has a "the" in front and the other doesn't. In your case it may be they have the same name but are in separate categories like one may be under hobbies and the other may be under technology. It would be very limiting if there were only set interests chosen by mylot, but it would be nice if their software could reconize when interests are the same and combine them.
