When I moved out of my parents' hosue for college, I will admit that I did not put most of my stuff away at first. I thought it would be okay for me to share with my roommate and keep things in common areas. Of course, after a bad experience with some roommates I had later on, I decided to begin to keep things in my room. At first, it was small stuff; then it really got bad, so I started keeping things like soda in there, my toilet paper for my bathroom in my room, etc. I wish it didn't have to be like that, but there was a lot of things going on with those roommates and not asking to use things. I ended up keeping a lot of things in my own room.

No of course not, I dont hide food, Im afraid the rat might enjoy it. I share it with the group. I love to share it with friends and with my room mate and with my visitors there. Its always nice to share to those we care about.
