To all Filipino myLotters - MyLot Congregation

about two months ago, there have been a few discussions about an international conference of mylot users or a national conference for that matter. a lot of people found it a good idea but of course geographical location and costs associated with it is a concern for many. so, the last of the plan i heard is for those in the same city to meet up and share to mylot how everything went. unfortunately, the mylot friend who initiated the discussion recently gave birth (to a beautiful baby KC) and so the planning got disrupted. i think it would be fun. i'm supportive of this idea. count me in if it's made feasible. :)

Good idea but it may be difficult to assemble people. Try to make the lead. Perhaps some will be available and I may join also.

Now, you are carrying the idea of myLot too far. Venturing into the dark world of politics, who knows we could have elected somebody to sit in Malacanang in the coming 2010 election. Well, why not? Or maybe it would be better if we could have a club for Pinoy Mylotters here. I suggest that you open a yahoo groups for all Filipino members here. Nice post.

Easy said than done, Im a long time member of a certain group. Our group have recently created a site www.visayas6community.org, it's a congregation of visayas chatters around the world (almost all members are Ilongo from region 6) The group had already some projects to count, a Day Care Center, an aid to Asilo de Molo to name a few. It involves great efforts, persistence, perseverance from the Moderators and officers with contributions from members to have a congregation. More so, almost all members of our group have already acquaintances with each other by means of teleconferencing and even eyeballs. Here at mylot, i don't think your thought is possible at this point. But, it's still early to conclude. It should come from someone else's here with great effort, perseverance, persistence and of course have the denominator... monetary it should be.

That'd be cool. Having all pinoys in a MyLot congregation..like a senate or congress thing. And have a fund raising drive for the street kids or for an orphanage..Well isn't that going to be a rewarding deed :
