How old were you when you went for your 1st Date?

I believe I was 13, too. It was a girl who had just moved into our part of town a few years before. She was someone who I developed a really close relationship with, and it was actually a big deal. We were all out for the summer and I asked her if she wanted to go to Great America, the local amusement park, with me and some friends. It was supposed to be a group of people together, but we ended up separating, just the two of us, for almost the entire day. After that, we hung out together at her house, on her porch, and we ended the night with both of our first kisses.

I was twelve and the boy (who was from the church my family and I attended) was thirteen. We went to see a Michael J. Fox movie called The Secret to My Success. We hung out a couple of times after that, but then it fizzled out like most childhood boy/girl relationships tend to do. hee hee

I was 16 when I went on my first date with a boy who was 17. We went to dinner and to the movies. I remember it like it was yesterday just because it was the very first date I ever went on with just me and another person and not a whole group of friends.

There was no question dating when i was young. In India we don't have dating culture. The only dating we do is to watch our sisters friends who visit my sister. We do some errand for our sisters and meet their friends.
