Contacts or Glasses; which do you prefer?

My son recently went to a prom with a girl he knows from camp. They were so cute together and so much alike. They both wore their glasses even when photos were being taken. Neither one of them likes contact lenses. The girl had said she tried them, but hated sticking her finger in her eye every morning. Do you wear contacts? I don't, but my husband does especially when he plays softball. I never felt the need for them and wearing glasses some of the time doesn't bother me. How about you, do you prefer contacts over glasses?

I don't need to wear contacts or glasses. However when my sister and I were younger my sister needed glasses (she was about 12 and I was about 10 at the time ). Well she decided to get contacts a short time later and just watching her put them in was enough to freak me out into not wanting to ever wear contacts! :P That and she knew of a lady that had to have a contact surgically removed due to it getting stuck and rolling back in her eye all because she forgot she was wearing them and fell asleep wearing the contacts. Ouch! I think I'll stick to wearing glasses, if I ever need them.

glasses is about all I can deal with. I have very poor eyesight... I was on stage (community theatre) and could not wear glasses because of stage lights reflecting so I went through the expense of getting contacts. WHAT A HASSLE I had such a time getting them in, then they would curl up on my and end up in my lid... I never felt like I could see quite right through them either. Maybe it is the astigmatism? oh and then when alergies started flaring up, forget it!
My only problem I have with the glasses is when it rains or when going from a cold to warm environment - they fog up.

I,ve tried contacts, but I didnt like it and had a lot of difficulty tp put it on. The things is also that when I read, I almost never wear my glasses or I will have a headhache.
So I prefer glasses and my boyfriends also.
But these days they are so many cool type of glasses that can go with your style that they are many many people who are coming back to glasses.

Personally, I prefer glasses. They are much easier to take on and off. Also, I can wear them for as long as I like without my eyes straining.

I wear contacts everyday and I am quite comfortable with them.They are more convenient in daily life and make me morconfident than before.I began to wear them since I was an intern in hospital.It has been more than ten years until now.Sometimes my eyes are a little bit dry cause I wear them for a long time.And now I would wear glasses as soon as I get home.
