When is a baby a baby? Is it at conception or when the child is born?

I believe that life begins at conception. To quote from a Dr. Suess book "A person is a person, no matter how small". :)

In technical terms a baby is a baby when it is born. Before birth the child is a zygote, then embryo, then fetus.

Life inside the womb begins 8 seconds after the sperm and egg cell meet. It's amazing how we mothers have the sole task of nurturing another life inside of us.

I think at some point between conception and birth a potential life becomes a life. I'm open to redefining my ideas of when exactly based on changing technology & scientific advances- but until there is the potential for viability it's not yet a life imo. At this time, I would say at some point passed 20 weeks.
