during the time when i was still living together with the dad of my four kids.... and living with him is very complicated. i was thinking that i should or could cheat just to call it even.....
my response to your discussion is it depends on the personality of the person. some can really take or afford to cheat if they had the change and tell themselves "as long as nobody will know."
for me? no, i wouldnt cheat even if i have the chance. i believe in KARMA and it is really painful if you realize the one you love cheats behind your back so i will not do something like that.

Thanks for your welcoming. I also think that things have a way to turn around, and even if someone thinks they can get away with something, sooner or later they'll find out they will not, not necessarily in the same matter but in some other way.

just think about how painful it is if someone cheat behind your back.... if you do nice things to people nice things will happen to you. maybe in some point in time you were hurt and felt betrayed but in the end of every story or what they say in the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold.

I agree with that, things do turn around at some point, you do bad, expect something bad, and vice versa.
I think we must consider thinking what would happen if we're in the other person's shoes.

My answer would be NOOOOOO!!! It's immoral and uterly disgusting when you see people doing that. I know that people say "but he/she is not treating the other spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend right" but that doesn't make it right. If that is the case, then either divorce or breakup with the person doing the hurting. How would they like it if their better half was cheating on them. They wouldn't so they shouldn't do it either. Anyway, that is my two cents. Hope this makes sense.

spot on, except for the divorce part... I do not agree with that. though, if you are so compelled to cheat and determined to and nothing is going to change your mind - you should remove yourself from your family I suppose, and not make them pay even more for your sins of the flesh.

I would not dream of cheating. If anyone ever feels the need to cheat, they need to get out of the relationship they are already in, because their partner is not right for them. Cheating is a quick way to end a relationship.

That's right, if someone is thinking on doing so, why bother getting a partner at the beginning ? And is also, as you say, an automatic form of ending it, but if the relationship is suppose to end, why finishing it this way? correct?
Talking is the best way.

Because cheating means loosing trust and in relationship the first and the last peeler is trust if you lose that you will lose your relationship so avoids these things and be faithful to your partner.

No I can trutfully save I have never cheated and would not do so I did have the chance in college to cheat on a take home open book test but I found I already knew the answser as I had done a lot of studying so did not even take advantage of the chance to cheat. why do so its cheating yourself as you learn nothing doing this.

Congrats on that particular moment, you know you did good regardless on the results, and I assume you did great on that test as well.
It is a very uplifting feeling when you know you did something on your own, not necessarily with someone's help, but without taking the easy way.
