why do people want your help but arne't really willing to you out

would you help soem one if you didn't know them very well out of the kindness of your heart or would you be like no not at this time or just no i don't know you you could be a complete muderder or a nut case or soemthing worst would you help me????

I'm always helping total strangers and don't give it a second thought. My mom always did and would always tell us you always help people when you can and expect nothing in return, for god will always bless you. It has stuck with all us kids and we alway help in her memory.

why thank you for that and could i ask you for soem help im trying to get my busniess going but where i live its very hard to most of the people here are so hard to talk with if you would let me know

I think it is just a matter of being human. Self centredness is truly ingrained in us. Before we help, we really ask ourselves if there is anything in it for us. How does it benefit us.
One perfect example is, i started a discussion with the word HELP needed. NO ONE actually came forward to help other mylotters with hints on how to personalise our profiles. Eventhough there are many out there with fantastic and really cool profiles.
What do you have to lose besides gaining a friend? Then again, they wouldn't have unique one of a kind profiles if they had shared their knowledge. - Lyn
