Fear of bees. Getting the stinger out.

I can not stand bees or wasp anything that will sting me. I was stung by 2 at one time because I freaked out when they got too close to me. My dad used tobacco to get the stinger out but what if you don't smoke? How do you get a stinger out?

I've always heard that you should never use tweezers or try to squeeze it out because that can release more of the...I can't think what's called, but the stuff that's in the stringer and can make you itch and swell and cause a bad allergic reaction. Instead you should try to scrape it off by using a credit card or something similar. Tape can also work by pulling the stinger out without squeezing it.
An unusual way to treat the site of the sting once the stinger is out, by the way, is to dab toothpaste on it.
