4th of July tribute

On this day the fouth of July I would like to pay tribute to all of our men and women in Iraq as well as those who have served in the armed forces in the past as well as the present. Does anyone have any suggestions for the tribute? I have contacted our area chamber of commerce and area intrest groups and they were not going to have anything besides the normal fireworks at the park. I did contact the park and they are willing to add a special 1 hour segment for the event. But I need suggestions please help. I was thinking of a 21 gun salute with the marines if they will particapate. I have a bulletin board in which everyone can place a picture or poem in memorance of falling heros and vets. I am passing out mini us flags at the falls in the park. I have arranged for a grill cook out for $5.00 a person with the proceeds going to the USO fund. hugs
