My husband is waiting to get hired on at his work, and twisted his ankle, so, we took him to the clinic, sine we don't make a lot of money right now. Nor do we have Health Insurance. amazingly enough, they wanted to set him an appointment 2 weeks from yesterday. um, I think he has a better chance from a healer? what have been your experiences?

I know what its like about not having insurance. My husband is self employed as a truck driver and we didn't have any insurance untill a few weeks ago. I like when you go to the doc and they say "well lets wait and have you come back in a few days and see if its any better" lol then you have to pay for another office visit! I have two boys so it can get expensive. But I wanted to let you know about a company that offers dicount benefits. They offer medical, dental, vision, prescription, and chiropractic benefits. I actually just started working for this company and we got one of their programs. It does save. They start at $19.95 a month and that includes the entire household. If you'd like more infor you can look at my website or contact me by phone. my number is on my site. If you're not interested thats fine to just thought it may be able to save you some money and be able to get into the doc sooner lol. www.deliveringonthepromise.com/40526445

Well, I checked this site, and it is still not health insurance, it is just supplemental to cover what insurance does not. However, I did receive a discount card, or at least WILL in the mail in the next couple of weeks, and that's cool. I'd doubt I'd want to sell supplemental insurance. It is actually 60$ per family, and so I don't know where you got the 19.95 from. thanks for the info regardless.

I said the plans start at $19.95 for a household. That is our lowest plan and it includes dental vision, prescription, and chiropractic. They have a plan for just physician care and its $29.95 for a family. and they do go up to $59.95 for our total package. I didn't ask for you to work for us I was just sharing this info because it can save you money. I know its not insurance but for people without insurance it can be a great help to them. Sorry to bother you with it if you arn't interested thats fine too.

Hopefully he will have healed by the time his appointment comes around so you don't have to shell out a bunch of money to these people that didn't want to fit him in at the time the injury occured. I would just be sure that he tries to stay off of it for a while and try to slowly do some stretches with it to stregthen it up. Like the other poster said if it's causing him pain try taking ibprophen or tylenol. Unfortunately our healthcare system really sucks when you don't have insurance and even when you do have insurance it sucks.

Yeah, we have had insurance before, and I am pretty appalled by the lack of concern, and the fact that you certainly DO NOT get your moneys worth. (ha ha!) I think they need to start recruiting witch doctors, and healers.
