Can you put your elbow in your own ear?

When I was a kid, the pediatrician told me not to put anything sharper than an elbow in my ear. How strange is that? Who would put an elbow in their ear? What's the strangest advice you've ever received from your child's pediatrician or your own doctor?

No, but my granddaughter can... the smallest one. She was trying to teach me how to do it one day but I'm not as flexible as she is, and I couldn't manage it. I have no idea why anybody would want to do it... perhaps to prove a point, but I can't do it anyway. lol. Brightest Blessings.
