An all-in-one Filipino restaurant that offers the best of the country's cuisine as well as samplings of Philippine culture and the country's beautiful tourist destinations has opened in Singapore The Department of Tourism opened the "7107 Flavours" restaurant in Singapore to lure more foreign tourists. Pinakbet "Through 7107 Flavours, we will create an emotional bond with the Singaporean guests by giving them a brief experience of the sights, sounds and taste of the Philippines and encourage them to come to the country for their next holiday," the DOT said. The 220-square meter restaurant will be offering menu fare covering traditional Filipino dishes, such as lechon de leche (roast suckling pig) and kare-kare (oxtail stew), and fusion cuisine. Filipino chefs will man the kitchen and ensure that every dish brings out the Philippines' rich culinary heritage and guests may also choose to take home pastillas (milk candy) and other Filipino delicacies.
