If oyu were to sacrifice one of your senses what would it be and why?1. sight 2. hearing 3. taste 4. smell 5. touch I'd rather sacrifice my smell than any of my senses. I wouldn't want my sense of sight to loose because i may not be able to see my sorroundings anymore.. Neither the sense of taste because it will be difficult to eat if you can not taste the food you are eating. I also don't want to loose my sense of hearing because it's difficult to communicate with people if you cannot hear what they talking to you. I don't want to loose even my sense of touch. So i'd rather choose the sense of smell, because i think i may know the smaell of a thing by using my sight isn't it?

I like this discussion because it makes you realise how important all our senses are. We only really appreciate them when we contemplate losing one blessed be

For me, I would have to sacrifice my sense of taste. I think I can go on living life, without being able to taste food. I can still eat, can't i? But not that enjoyable anymore.. Unlike others, I wouldn't want to lose my sense of smell. I think the sense of smell is really important because for me, a lot of memories are associated with it. Especially when I smell certain odors, I can feel nostalgic. Such as the smell of the rain, a certain perfume, the smell of my dog. But I hope I won't lose any of my senses. It would be really hard, still. Even if it's just one sense. I really like this discussion. It makes me think and reflect. Have a great day maybel13. =D

This is a tough question. I'd rather be myself and be happy with who I am .

hey maybel.. your discussion is really interesting because i have never thought of which sense i would rather lose.. (god forbid i lose any).. but then again, if you lose your sense of smell doesn't it affect your sense of taste? Because whenever you get a cold and your nose is blocked and you can't smell, don't you feel that you can't taste your food at all, and it tastes bland? Well, maybe you're right.. because maybe people nowadays shouldn't be enjoying food to much due to health and medical reasons. but i can't imagine life without ever knowing the taste of food again.. So, to answer your question, i would rather lose none.. sorry.. i just can't decide.. :) thanks for the question, though.. good one..

If I had to sacrifice one of my senses, it would be my sense of smell. I would rather have that than anyothers because if I lost my sight, I would never be able to read or see movies or even go on my lot. If I lost my hearing, I would be so sad that I would never hear my children's laughter. I would miss the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the sand. If I lost my sense of taste, I would never be able to try new and tasty things, my world would just be bland and I would want to give up on food entirely. If I lost my sense of touch, I would never feel my children's hugs or my husband's touch. I would not be able to feel pain and I could end up with serious injury. I would give up my smell. I wouldn't like it, but it would be the one, I would give up first.

Mee too just liek others, would be sacrificing smell. Its the judiciuos and calculated risk. To rate my senses, i first rate my sense off sight with out which the world is blind and i become blind and all the senses in turn would become blind. The second prefrence goes to hearing, Third to touch fourth to taste and fifth to smell.
