mutual funds

From what I learned, mutual funds are not exactly risk-free since any type of investments are having some risk one way or the other. However, in mutual funds the risks are quite smaller compared to other type of investments. In most cases the funds are invested in so many investible ways to scatter the risks involved. They could easily do some scattering because mutual funds are subscribed by a good number of people with the same mind and usually managed by professional investment managers.
