Theme Units

Do you use theme units to teach with? If so, where do you get your ideas from and what one have you found that you liked the best? I am looking to use a lot of these this next year as I think it will hold the kids interest much more. I just want to be sure that we have fun with them. I have done a few. I would like to do some with the Little House books and I know that they are available. I have one for Sarah,Plain and Tall that I thought that I might do also.
