I just wonder how often in the daily life, people of current era would wear the tradition clothing of thier respective countries or more specific geographical areas. As i analyse, a major part of the world has moved to almost similar, hybrid and worldwide known clothing.. for examples.. jeans and Ts or the executive suits.. you'll find in almost every city around the world. I personally wear the traditional clothes.. like the one being shown in the picture.. just on some relegeous festivals and cultural gatherings... otherwise i wear the same.. Ts n Jeans and the similar stuff What about you, How often you wear your tradition dresses, should we wear it often or not? does the clothing make any difference to your respect and loyality to your own culture?

Here in the Philippines, the traditional dress for the women are only worn on events or special occasions such as the inauguration of this and that. But for the men, they always wear the barongs even in offices as uniforms. Most of the common wears here is t-shirt and jeans , although the traditional dress is never forgotten. Besides, the traditional dress is expensive, hence it's worn occasionally only.
