Nowadays I am very conscious about using chemicals, I have as steam cleaner and I don't buy any cleaning agents now
My Mum is really good to me and for Christmas and birthdays she always buys me gold jewelery, I always use a special cleaner for them but it is very toxic and I am always so careful about where I store it, Well the other day I ordered a new gadget from speed auction TV its a SKY TV shopping station
It is a digital ultrasonic cleaner, It works on the same principal as ultrasonic tooth brushes and it passes high frequency stimulation's through the water
It has a small tank like a small pot with a lid on it, You just out cold water in it and the jewelery or keys or small items that are waterproof, spectacles even your dentures, I have cleaned everything in sight in the last few days, my jewelery has never been a shiny even with the special cleaner I used to buy,
Isn't progress wonderful xx

It sounds and looks like a very cool gadget weemam; Ross and hubby better be careful leaving things lying around in the future! It sounds like a very useful gadget to have in the house and I wouldn't mind getting one myself. What is it called and who is it made by?

Wow... that sounds like a wonderful gadget, Weemam, but don't wear it out will you, by cleaning everything in sight. It's certainly amazing what you can find on the market these days, although personally, I keep my jewellery shiny with soapy water, soap of the washing up kind. It also seems to clean and shine up in the bath.
Just the same, I might think about purchasing one of these gadgets as it seems very versatile and my spectacles are always needing a clean!
Brightest Blessings.

I love the ultra sonic cleaners. I used to work in a laboratory and we had one that we would use to clean equipment. I would put my glasses in it and they would come out sparkling clean. Much better then any glass cleaner that you could possible use.

I would so love to have one of those. They work so much better than the jewelry cleaner that you soak your jewelry in and then scrub the heck out of it with the tiny brush. Maybe I'll put it on my Christmas list for hubby. Think it'll work? LOL

It must be nice to have such a gadget! I am a sucker for little gadgets like this, but luckily here we are confide to the infomercials on TV. In the shops in general you wont find anything like that. I bet you look like a Xmas tree in July! lol!

Wow, weemam. That's a great gadget you discovered there. I really don't own any real jewelries. Just some fancy stuff which I took care of. My sister often brought her jewelries to the shop to polish up. I will bookmark this page and show to my sister. She might be interested in the gadget. Thanks for sharing.

That does sound like a useful gadget, I'll have to find out if they are available in The UK. I have a lot of silver jewelery that needs cleaning and I'd rather use a method like that than a toxic cleaner. There are cleaners available in England now that don't have chemicals in them and are better for the environment than all the harsher ones.

Love your sense of humor, weemam. Yes, I have heard that those gadgets are wonderful. With your glowing recommendation maybe I will get one for myself. I have some jewelry that is very much in need of cleaning. And don't mention the eyeglasses. Mine are constantly getting dirty because I am wearing them more and more.

I would stay clear of it unless you have seem proof of that fact it works from a good source and not from a commercial. Thats the golden rule I usually abide by.

I haven't seen this type of cleaner here in Australia. What exactly is it called? Does it have a website?
I agree that chemicals, especially some of the strong ones, are quite bad for people.
