How do discussion qualify for today's top discussion or today's hot topics ?

I hav eposting the discussions since last 4 months but I ahve never got my discussion placed in "today's top discussion" or "today's hot topics". Can you please tell me why is it so? How do a discussion qualify for these categories?

These sections change very fast so I'm not sure exactly how your discussions gets into them, but all the times my discussions have are when lots of people respond very quickly to it. So you have to start a discussion that appeals to a lot of people and put it in a category lots of people are subscribed to.

Thanxs. I too post the discussions in the section where the maximum people are ther, but still I never found my discussion listed in top list.
