Hello myLotters, I've only been here for a couple of months, I have read alot of discussion since I joined. I have been wondering what is the best discussion you have taken part in. What is the best interest group, I personally love reading and adding my one cent to religion, there are so many beliefs here and everyone has their own opinion, I love to see the arguments over something no one can win. Then there is politics, another argument which people get into which has no winners, although they are great to read and give comment to. I haven't a really favorite discussion to date, because there are so many. I just would like to hear some of you answers, and maybe add my one cent to them So overall what is your all time favorite discussion and or interest group? why is it your favorite?

There have been so many discussions that I hve enjoyed in the over six months that I have been on mylot that I think it would be impossible to choose just one as a favorite. Many of my favorite discussions are started by some of the same people, who have become real friends to me as well as mylot friends. One discussion that comes to mind as a possible favorite was about childhood perspectives, because it really made me think. I really enjoy silly, casual discussions as well, but my favorites are always the ones that make me think and look at the world in new ways. I suppose because of this religion has been one of my favorite interests here as well. I love learning about the beliefs of others, and since my own religion is rather non-mainstream, I often get asked questions about it. I enjoy answering those questions because it gives me an opportunity to investigate my own beliefs further, as if every time I express them I am also deepening and growing in them. I also really enjoy talking about things that are a large part of my life, like parenting and health issues. It's nice to feel like part of a larger community when I am having a problem or have questions about something. Since I don't always know people around me that have similar experiences to mine, it's exciting to be able to come online and hear about things from other people who have been there. A good example of this was when my child had a seizure, and after he was treated and everything was calmed down here, I wound up coming online to talk to other people who had been through that experience. It calmed me down a lot to find out that I wasn't the only parent who had to deal with that situation, and that there were so many people out there willing to share their stories and advice.

Well my favorites would have to be religion and politics. I ran across mylot when doing a search about something political and thats how I got hooked on it. I had to join just so I could put my two cents in. there have been alot of really good topics I can even begin to pic one alone.

The best I ever partook in was one of my own I had started. It was a series of discussions about my life as a runaway in the traveling carnival. Why my own? Firstly because I got the opportunity to share a life that a lot of people know little about being a carnie. Also because it was a great experience for me being a young teen and living onm my own as an adult. Because it brought back fond memories of my life traveling all over the east coast and down south of the States. Now my favorite interest group has to be gardening as I do a lot of flowers, veggies, and fruit discussions of my own plants and fruits and veggies and flowers. It is my favorite hobby as well. Thanks for this discussion as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hello Gandpa Bob, I read alot of your posts on your garden, they are quite good. I don't always respond to everything I read, but I do take notice. I enjoy my garden too, I don't always write about it, maybe I will start taking pics and make some discussions on my garden. Peace, Totty

Hello whiteheather39, I try to stay out of that discussion. People don't know what they are talking about usually. There are alot of arguements in that topic. Peace, Totty

I prefer posting more about our country's rich culture, anything that is unique here on my motherland. Topics about eye-openers are also good, to let people be aware of things they didn't thought is happening in real life. I respond to some posts that asks questions on how mylot works, to help them understand more of this site and provide "credible" information to all members..

Oh my yes this is a hard one to answer. How does one answer a question like this? I think there are way too many to mention or even remember for that matter. I do love debates but it is hard to remember one specific that stands out from the rest. I do love the religion topics too. Oh my gosh I love most all topics and maybe all topics. Okay so I can not answer your question properly no matter how hard I search my brain for an answer! Can anyone answer this question? PS. I just finished my date with you today! :)

i enjoyed a lot of discussions here ranging from humor, life, religion, technology, mylot FAQs and guidelines, questions and answers, geography, politics, entertainment, music, and many more. but what really caught my attention are those trivial questions that are funny yet have received many responses. such topics as 'do you smell your underwear...', 'which do your prefer tv or computer?', how many times do you brush your teeth?' are not easy to forget. they really stick to your mind. but seriously speaking and modesty aside, my all time favorites are those discussions that credited me to have the best responses.

Rush Hour, its one of those movies where I can just watch over and over again (although I can say that about most Jackie Chan movies). Another is independence day, one of the first movies I had ever watched at the cinemas and I would rate as an all-time classic.

Lots of interesting topics here, some are too private to discussed, some are boring and very funny. But legal issues regarding mylot is my favorite. I'm just new here so I want to ask, read and discussed things about mylot from the members itself.
