If not for the low labor cost in China, we wouldn't have cheap toys in our possession right now. If not for the Chinese there may be lots of things we cannot afford to buy.

aS WELL IAS I ALREADY SAID ONE THINK YOU ALL NEED T KNOW GUYS. iT IS BETTER TO HAVE SOMETHING EXPENSIVE AND MADE IN GERMANY FOR EXAMPLE THAN A LOT OF CHEAP STUFF THAT WILL LAST FOR ABOUT ONE DAY OR SO. i PREFER TO BUY gERMAN CAN OPENER BECAUSE IT WILL LAST YEARS. JUST A QUICK EXAMPLE: SPEND 5-10 DOLLARS ON cAN OPENER THAT IS MADE IN MERMANY, YOU WILL USE IT FOR 30 YEARS. tRY CHINESE AND YOU ARE GOING TO BRAKE IT IN FEW DAYS, AND PAY ANOTHER DOLLAR FOR NEW ONE. sO BETTER TO BUY SOMETHING EXPENSIVE AND HAVE IT FOR YERS.

Well, I'm pretty sure I'd rather not be able to pay for some things if that would make the Chinese stop exploiting their labourers and the enormous pollution.

It's not really exploitation but the way their system works and perhaps the cost of living contributes as well.
