This movie is worth seeing. It's definitely not a feel-good movie. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name, which itself was not really an uplifting book, until perhaps at its end. The reason this movie is worth seeing is for Christina Ricci's performance. It's moving, heartbreaking, and compelling. Wonderful job. The movie was never released in theatres but you can find it on DVD.
