4th of July

In the US the 4th of July is independance day. The day we declared we are a free nation, self governed. The habit here is cookouts and fireworks.
If you are from the US, what are your plans for the 4th?
If you are not from the US, what day do you celebrate the formation of your country, independance day, and how do you celebrate?

We celebrate Canada Day on July 1st. This year I'm in the States. Unfortunately I'll miss Canada's 140th birthday but it will be interesting to celebrate the 4th of July with my fiance and his family. They've already promised me a little something for Canada Day.

I talk to a woman in Canada, she is here on myLot too, she tells me about what they do in the holidays there and I let her know what I do here in the US. Both of us are from big enough families that a get together with the family is part of the celebration. Only the 4th of July and Christmas though are ones that my kids are here with me too, so they are extra special.

I haven't really made any plans yet. I might have cookout, this is as good a reason for barbequed steaks as any. Besides that though, I don't have much of anything planned. I'm just glad for once that I won't be working on the 4th because I usually do.

I will be very happy if I can go hang out with my best friend. I am going through radiation and chemo treatments and I get the day off on the fourth! My treatments have been very positive. If I feel up to it, my roommate and I will probably sit on his roof like we did last year and watch the fireworks from the near by high school.
I wrote an article just today on a site called Associated Content about how I used to go to the high school and watch the fireworks display. If anybodys interested in checking out my article or would like to join and write to get paid, send me a message and I will send you a link. I had my first real date with my first real boyfriend at the high school on the fourth of July where there was live music, dancing, etc.

HELLO my dear friend. in china our national day is october 1,that day all chinese have a holiday of seven days .most of us select going travelling .
