Do you prefer Your Eyes to be Green, Blue, or Brown?

I have what is called Hazel eyes. Some days they are more green and other days they show more brown. I do actually really like my eyes. :) But there are also color enhancing contacts that I like to wear from time to time and change my eyes to be a *SMACK*...that is GREEN!!!! ha ha
And then, I started to wonder what people really prefer. It would appear that the the most common preference is blue. I say this because when I went to get color contacts, there were 8 different blue color contacts to 2 different green contacts. And brown...there was one! LOL
Personally, I prefer my eyes the vivid green color if I am going to wear contacts. :)
So, what color eyes do you prefer for yourself?
Do you wear contacts to change your color?
IF you could change your eye color, what would you change it to?

I have hazel eyes also, although they never change to blue, they do change to green and mostly they are brown, I wanted contact a few years ago, to make my brown eyes blue and went to the doctor and tried for almost 3 months, I had problems getting them in my eyes, took me almost 2 hours to get it done, well needless to say, I could never get the hang of it and went back to glasses, guess I will have to live with my brown sometimes hazel eyes

My partner tried them also and he struggled. Now, he doesn't even bother wearing them because he didn't get the enhancers. He got the contacts that change the color entirely. So, he had a hard time getting used to the altered vision.
But at least you tried, right?

Yeah that is the kind I got too, but I was never able to order the actual contacts since I was never able to get the other ones in. Seems I need two type of lenses, which makes it hard, one for the computer and one for regular vision, so it was hard for me to wear the contacts and do any work on the computer and then be able to see to walk around, so no matter what even with the contacts they still wanted me to wear glasses, so I gave up, again!

Here we do not have that option.We all have black eyes.Rarely we come across a person with brown and blue eyes.And the other colors look awful on us the dark people.So I never ever wished for another color for my eyes.I have noticed your beautiful eyes in the photos.And Dia,I love the violet eyes of Liz.

I had attached my picture of my eye with and without color enhancement to this discussion. But for some reason it did not attach.
But I did put the photo above under my sister's response to me. :)
I love violet eyes too!!! I even have some but they just don't fit right and constantly scratch my eyes. So, I stick with the enhancers.

I am happy with my brown eyes so I would not change anything about the color of my eyes. I would not mind bigger eyes as I have small eyes. Blue would be my next choice of colors for my eyes. I do not wear contacts at all though I have thought about wearing contacts.

You know...when you wear contacts, they can help to make your eyes look bigger because you are then not hiding behind your lens and frames.
Maybe you should try it. :) But I would start out with regular contacts first before moving onto colors.

I have baby blues :) But, when they're bloodshot, like when my allergies are really bad, they have a greenish look to them lol. I don't wear contacts, actually have 20/10 vision, or it was a few years ago anyway lol. If I ever did get color contacts, I think I'd like a green color. Like you said, everyone gets blue ones, and some it's so obvious they're fake, I mean, no one has purple blue eyes lol.

I had violet eyes when I was born, then turned a deep brown...I happen to be fogged eyed..LOL...and always thought about contacts...but the idea of having something on my eyeballs gives me the willeys --so I guess that rules out color contacts also..Oh, well...so I guess I need to be content with my brown eyes--have after all these years..

I hear that from a lot of people that they just can't imagine something on their eye. But even when my daughter decided to try it, she was amazed at how comfortable they really are. :)
Violet eyes at birth. That would be pretty cool to have seen!!!! :)

I wish I had kept that color...also had jet black hair when I was born too--must have reflected the Native American/Spanish/French/German in me...also my Irish great-grandfather was known as "black" Irish..meaning spanish blood somewhere in time

I have blue eyes. I love the color of my eyes. But, if I were to have the option of changing them to another color, it would be purple. What a gorgeous color.

I have the deepest darkest brown eyes you have even seen. Both my daughters do too. I love them. My one daughter got green contacts and changed the color of her eyes and i just hated it. I thought her eyes looked terrible the color that they were with contacts.

Hello,brokentia,i have brown eyes and i amhappy with the color,i will not wear contact lens to change the color because i do not like the feeling of wearing contact lens.
I have to say a blue color is very attractive,i have a friend who is a blonde with blue eyes,she is absolutely gorgenous and when i go out shopping with her,many people have a glance on her because she is so beautiful.

Mine is dark brown and like it...When i am very much happy they sparkle a lot and when i cry they turn black....I don't like those artificial lens...

I have green eyes. But when i cry they turn blue and sometimes they turn dark green sort of like emerald. i didn't like my eyes before but now that i'm growing up i like them.

Well I have Hazel eyes to and just like you they sometimes change. sometimes the'll be more blue like and other times the'll be more green like. I like my eyes. I also love my boyfriend wonderful blue stripped eyes. They are amazing. There so cool expecially when its bright out and they shine... I love blue eyes on guys!

I also have hazel eyes- I love them - they change daily a you said- Most times they are more green- I would say they are greenish/brownish/yellow- I love my eyes- They aren't blue or brown- I do not wear contacts to change the color- My sig. other has gorgeous blue eyes and my daughter had gorgeous brown eyes- so we are all different- and I love all of our eye colors-

I have brown eyes and have worn coloured contacts before. Although I do like blue eyes - my favourite colour eyes are green. However, these two colours do not look right on me. The only oter clour besides brown that actually suits me is a grey coloured contact which surprisingly makes my eyes look just slightly greenish/brown.

That is pretty cool that they look greenish brown with the grey contacts.
I tried the grey contacts once...and I guess because my eyes are so light already, they made my eyes look even lighter and it looked very scary. ha ha :)
I think I best stick with green enhancers for me :D

My eyes are mahogany brown..and occasionally, when I'm sad they can sometimes look kind of yellow-ish brown (I'm not sure of what the color's called that's why I said yellow, it's just a pale color, when mixed with brown it looks weird)..like young tree bark that's been sliced open.
I've always adored green eyes best, though..hazel being a close second favorite.
I don't wear contacts, though if I did I'd probably try one of each..and then decide which I like best.
If I could change my eye color..I'd change it to..burnt orange probably. Since no one else in the world has that color lol.

Burnt orange would definitely be very different and probably very cool and interesting!!! :)
Maybe you should take a picture of yourself and change the eye color to see what you would look like. :)

I don't really hate my eye color. I'm just not that into it. lol! I have, as almost all asians do, the darkest darkest darkest brown almost black color eyes. It's so ordinary. Everyone here has the same eye color. The only other eye color here is chocolate brown, and only very very few have that. And everybody's got black hair. I sometimes feel like everything's so monochromatic here lol! I've never tried contacts, but I want to sometime. I used to wish I had blue eyes, but two of my classmates used blue contacts and it looked awful on them. It was like they were perpetually shocked or something. Now I want to get green or hazel contacts. But I think chocolate brown is the most suitable for my complexion.

The green or hazel might turn out very cool with your appearance. :)
I can understand though about you feeling your friends always looked in shock.
There are some colors that would just not look good.

I currently have Blue-Green eyes. some days they can be almost steel blue, other days something as dramatic as teal green, they tend to change a bit depending on the lighting and what i am wearing, my mood, and whether i've been up and have red eyes/drinking.
I would like to have blue eyes, but at the same time, apparently when i get olde rmy eyes may turn more greyish in color! talk about distinction!

Steel or teal blue would be a very cool eye color to have. :)
