Hello all mylot friends. I have been away for several months taking care of my terminally ill mother. Just a update on her. She has been with me for 34 months now (only given 12 months to live) and still fighting strong. I have hospice now as mother has climbed to the top the mountain, and is going down the other side rapidally. She has had four strokes in three months. I have returned back to work at Walmart--only part time, as it is still so hard to cope with the emotional roller coaster that the family goes through dealing with cancer. I would appreciate it if you would keep me in your prayers. God Bless and hold your loved ones close to your heart.

Oh Missyann, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your mother. I lost my mother 14 years ago quite suddenly to a frontal aneurysm and can totally understand what you are going through. I will pray for you and your mother and hope the hospice care takes good care of you and your mom and eases the transition for both of you. We are here for you when you need us.

Hi missyann73,I am so very sorry to hear about your Mother.I know this is very heartbreaking for you.But your Mother is a very strong woman, she indeed has a strong will to survive!! It is probally because of the love and compassion you have shone to her that she has remained with you so much longer than the doctors antisapated.I am glad you are working part time, this will take your mind off of this ordeal you all are going through alittle bit.God Bless. I will indeed hold my loved ones close to me, we never know what tomorrow holds for any of us..

Thank you for your kind response. My mother is my life. I feel when you loose a parent, it leaves a void in your heart that can never be replaced. God Bless

I will keep her, you and your family in my prayers. I came back a month ago after leaving for 3 months, because I had to help my mother battle her cancer. It's a horrible thing.
