Hellow everyone. I just want you all to know I have the slowest PC in the world. LOL I click and wait, click and wait, type and wait, click and wait. Well you get the idea. LOL Because my PC is so slow I have trouble just keeping up with the replys to my posts. I hardly ever have time to chexk out my friends posts. So please don't think I'm ignoring you. Someday the PC gods will bless me with high speed but until then I click and wait. I'm having a lot of fun here. Click.......

Well Hon, I know exactly what you are going through, I could not get high-speed internet until about four months ago, myself.Mine was very slow just like yours, I would get very discusted with it, I could not keep up either when I had dial-up. The lord blessed me with High-speed, I am really enjoying it alot.If he did it for me, He will also do it for you very soon, I am sure.Can you get SBC high speed? That is what I have, it is only $14.99 a month!!!

SBC and ATT are the same thing now. I have the ATT my daughter about 5 miles from me has Sbc high speed. I can only get dile up. Well they said I could get a dish for $300 but who has the money for that, not me. They said it will be awhile before I can get high speed. They said it won't be any time soon. I'm praying that God will hurry them up. :)

Hi IL2knit!! I too have slowest PC which i brought before 5 yrs and i have not upgraded..Its too slow when i especially use myLot.But now i have some good speed with opera browser..Its good and i can feel the difference from Internet explorer..Try it..Good Luck!!

I really symphatized with your condition right now or rather the condition of your connectivity to myLot. Before I also have problems not on my PC but with the slow dial-up connection. Right now I have a broadband which is quite faster than dial-up. It was a very frustrating to wait and wait and wait. In fact at that if my laptop just cost a penny I could have thrown it at the wall.

Oh My Goodness yes. If I have too many pages open it freezes up on me and I lose it all. There are pages that my PC will not even go to. I can't watch video, listen to music or pages that just have too much fancy stuff. I can't see my daughters page on myspace. My PC really acts up bad at myspace.

Dear friend to make the pc run fast you have to clean it from clutters.Delete the temperory files accumulated over the period.Check for tracking cookies with good adware killers like adaware.These spy ware and and malware can slow down your pc a lot.Then defrag your pc if it is a long tome due.
After that try to get a broadband connection.And see the difference.

I too nowadays am experiencing the same 'SPEED' with my PC. I dont know whats wrong with it but an confident I am going to get it fixed before it drives me nuts. I feel sympathy with you and hope you get a new PC or gets your present one fixed so you can utilize your time the way it suits you best.

Don't feel you are alone there. My Puter is slow as hell also.
Mainly due to having dial up service. It's really bad when I
upload photos. Uggg. But I do manage my limit each time I do them. Hahahaha!

I know exactly how you feel. I just got a new one and have cable connection so wow is it nice now.
Do you have antivirus and have you run a scan if you do? You might have a virus, that will slow you down a lot.

LOL! You are not alone! I have dial-up too, - mainly because we have more than one computer in use at any one time in this house, and the system here means you can't run two off connections broadband at the same time - so I always end up with the slow one:-(( I often wonder how much more I could do on MyLot if the pages took less than 2 minutes to load each one!

Well you must have developed lots of patience using a PC like that, but I suppose you get time to do other things till your PC loads a page. I do that very often - I either take a book to read or some other work while waiting for my PC to respond.
