Boxers or Briefs?

My 3 year old has started to not want to wear his breifs. A friend suggested I buy him boxers. Which do you think is better for boys / men?

Is he fully potty trained? Maybe briefs are a little difficult for him to manage? Try boxers, maybe he'll like those and it'd be easier for him when he needs to go to the bathroom.

no underwear! i dont understand y boys need them i get y girls do im a girl! but boys dont . . . . well ya if your a girl you probaly know what i mean!

I'm a girl and I understand. I let him go without. It's also a lot easier than arguing with him to wear them. :-)

Here is a thought, you have a young toddler, who is learning to be in charge of his surroundings. Maybe it isn't the type of underwear that is bugging him. WHen my middle child was that age, she wanted to try everything, and try NOT doing everything too! I think it will pass, let him go without if he wants too. If that isn't acceptable to you, let him pick somehthing that he likes. He's a lot more likely to put them on if he's chosen them.
