as of now, I am a big fan of books ha ha! I always surf the net to find some nice books. Some books that interest me now are those having the student-professor relationship he he! I also like those murder mystery books.
I want to be more addicted to reading books. I just found out that reading is fun. I almost forgot its definition after reading the JK Rowling books a few years ago. ^-^
Now, I am reading on Grecian Holiday by Kate Cann. I have two more books to read which are Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom and another one by Cathy Hopkins.
I need to read and read and read to learn new things and I think this makes me more responsible he he!
Now, please share me some of your favorite books and I'll try to find and buy one. =)

One book which I've liked very much is 'Conquest of mind' by Eknath Easwaran. This book explains how our mind works and tries to rule us, when infact we should be ruling our mind. The book also explains a simple method of meditation using which we can understand ourself better and also take control of our life.

I agree with what another response said "Purpose Driven Life" is excellent.
Right now next to my recliner I have 'Everday Blessings' by Max Lucado (daily devotional), God's Promises & Answers, and 'Are We Living in the End Times by Lahaye and Jenkins (authors of the Left Behind series).

LOL - I would say they are both, inspirational but through them self discovering. They do help me to both know what God says, how He wants me to live my life, encourage and strengthen me.
The End Times book is more a research type - give tons of information about what the bible says concerning the end times but also a lot of ministering to the non-believer. I love the Left Behind series, the first 5 books were actually the first Christian fiction books I ever read.

I've read Mitch Albom, too. For my fave books, here are a few:
Dragonlance series - These are fantasy novels that are really endearing and I got really addicted reading them. I especially love those written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman - Chronicles Trilogy: Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night and Dragons of Spring Dawning.
I also like to read some John Grisham books. My favorites include: The Firm and the Pelican Brief

Hi mskzalameda my friend,
Its is great that you still have a lot of time in spare that you read a lot number of books. Ask me, i usually read during books, but skip pages,a lot, read the climax plot earlier.ask my friends about it.All these things during my college days. But now no time, for me.
I remember one book i read that during my previous years, It was by Jack Higgins, " The Eagle has Landed".I found that book, really enterprising to read.. If you happen to get this book, read it. Good luck.

hehe the problem with me is that I only read the first few pages and then when I become busy in school, I forgot everything about it. I need more discipline hehe! I hope to get it. =)

I'm more into history right now, like those ruthless leaders from the past. From Dracula's true legend, Genghis Khan, Adolf Hitler and the Gestapo, Mafia, Josef Stalin and many more..
Try reading "World's Notorious Men", it's a compilation of some of the world's cold-blooded killers..

I think one book you might like is Dean Koontz's "The Taking". It's sort of science fiction .It's about an unseen alien race trying to kill off our enviroment and adjust it to suit theirs. The Heroes of the story was a married couple Neil and Maggie who were trying to save as much children as possible.I really liked it not just because it's science fiction ,but the storyline behindit. It was an awesome book and i hope you decide to read it
