Hi Friends:Do you start discussions more or respond discussions more?

I have totally 172 posts and most of them are responses to others' discussions.I prefer to responding than starting a discussion.Because I think it's kinda difficult for me to choose a hot topic. The most responses I've got in a discussion is 6.What a pity.I know some friends' discussions get more than one hundred responses, but I haven't found the key until now.Can anyone share me your tips?Thank you in advance:)

When I just joined here, I was interested in posting new discussions. I already ran out it, so nowadays I tend to respond to others' discussions.

thank you for your response and I know it is late:) It becomes a little bit hard to start new topics after some time.

I do both.. I post replies as much as I create topics. I think there is much value in creating good topics for people to respond too:)+

Thank you for your response. I think that most people respond more than start discussions, but a friend in my friend-list start nearly ten discussions per day.Unfortunately, she have never responded to my discussion until now.

Hi,simplejoy,I know you are from China from your avatar, aren't you?In normal time,I like to respond others' discussions more.Though I often start a new discussion, but I found the new topic has become fewer and fewer.I just can't find new topic. At the same time, joining other's discussion can make me study more new knowledge.

At first I was all over the place and didn't know what I should be doing. Now I have a routine. I try to start at least two discussions when I come on each day. Then I check the ones I already started, reply to comments, then I go to their profile and see what discussions they started, I add them as a friend and I respond to their discussions. Then hopefully they will accept me as a friend and check my discussions everyday. So when I am done that I go to discussions my friends started and respond to as many as i can!

Thank you for your response. I think there is something to learn in your routine. It sounds feasible and not that hard to get more responses.
