would you get a tattoo?

as someone who is scared to death of needles I am in no fear of getting a tattoo, I often watch the show Miami ink and some of the works of art oare just amazing yet I know I will never get one done. it is strange, when you go back sort of 15 years or so Tattoos seemed to have a stigma about them, you know like only bikers got them or something like that Oh and sailors but now it seems everyone has one and I have gone from Majority to minority

I have a tattoo, on my shoulder on my back. My guy has a lot of tattoos!! He is scared of needles at the doctor, shots and when they draw blood but the tattoo needles do not bother him a bit! GO figure! =)

Actually it is the name of my guy, and the name of my son, as they both have the same name. =)

I see many people who get tattoo on their skin. It's cool , I have to say that . But truthfully, I don't want to get one and for sure my mom never let me get one :d She's classic and she don't want me to do something she admit that is crazy

I also watch the show Miami Ink and love hearing the stories behind the tattoos. Personally I wouldn't get a tattoo because I'm positive that if I did one day I would get sick of it and want it gone. I'm not too thrilled about needles either.

Yea I like the idea of having my kids, one on each thigh but I could not sit there with that buzzing sound EWWWE But as you say some of stories really make the tatto make sense, I now just need to get brave. Oh and talk my wife in to letting me have it done.

No.I would never get a tattoo.Not only do I hate them but there are so many people I know that have gotten and gotten stuck with them for what ever reason .

yea you have to be sure that you will never regret it, if you cant do that then don't bother. Like I know what I am talking about LOL

I've got three so far, and I'm no fan of needles believe me! However getting them done you bear the pain, knowing that in a couple of hours or so it will be over, and then you have something unique that will last a lifetime - those of us that have them know that it is a part of you and says something about who you are. If I could afford it, I'd have at least two more too.
