Some words being marked as inappropriate

I have to say, i just tried to write a post that concerned temporary gender orientation/switching and i was not allowed to use the term g.a.y i have to put dots there so people know what i am using. I had to switch it to homosexual. lol. I don't think this is a word that should be marked as inappropriate, it is a common term used for common things, i understand the need for certain words to be marked as such, but its a three letter word that describes someones orientation, not something that is inappropriate. it is an identity not a sexually illicit word. What does anyone else think about that?

I've seen a lot of other words here that are more inappropriate than gay. No, I am not putting dots between the letters just to see if it goes through. The problem may be that you don't have your profile settings set to view "mature content". Give that a try and see if you are allowed to post these supposed inappropriate or illicit words.
