Have your kids ever gotten sick from McDonalds?

Mine has 3 times now. The same flu has struck this family 3 times, and it has been within a few hours of playing at McDonalds for him, day after for me.... I know some parents don't have the brains God gave a cow, taking their sick kids out in a public place and spreading germs like that, but I thought they had a regular cleaning schedule for the play place. I shudder to think of how many germs and stuff are on that equipment. Suffice it to say, we are not going back to McDonalds anymore. I'm tired of getting sick.

We've been lucky so far but the problem is they hire kids. Most kids have not a clue how to properly clean that stuff. It would take a lot of time also so they probably don't want to pay someone that many hrs everyday to do it like it should be done. On another note it just pisses me off when people take their sick kids out around others. Why would you want to share it with everyone else? That's just not right.

That is what I'm saying! I go out to the store to get medicine, but I'm in and out, no cart and keep my touching stuff down to a minimum. I have known people to stand making sandwiches and be coughing or sneezing, rubbing their noses. I'm like YUK! Why you got to do that for? I saw alot when I was training for manager.

They do. but many kids play at the playplace and they could have just cleaned it and then a sick kid played on the playplace left and then you came and your kids played on it. I dont know. Mine never got sick from playing at Mcdonalds Next time you take them just make them wash their hands after they are done playing or use that antispectic hand bottle that does not need water. feel happy to watch MR Bean movie here http://best-movie-mr-bean.blogspot.com

That's true. I personally never take my kids out when they are sick. I have that option being a stay at home mom, but people should use their heads and be considerate. But then that is like trying to achieve a perfect world. He eats while he plays. So that is pointless. lol.

i have had a few friends kids getting sick from playing in mc donalds play area, but usually get sick from the food more, i have been sick from food quiet a few times, and so have my friends. theres so many germs in that place its not funny and so many people go when they are sick etc, and the workers dont seem to clean it really good (well not the mc donalds in this area) im minimized the amount of times i go there, about few times a year thats enough for me so probably once a month or once every second month.

Wow! I'm a mystery shopper for them, so if I ever got some raw food, I would call their corporate office to complain! No doubt about it! If you think it's the food, you should definitely do that. I would hate to think they aren't preparing it properly, and you could say that you are calling the Health Department on them because the kids have been sick three times already! I have eaten at them for many times, and haven't gotten sick, but then again I've never received raw food. Pablo

so far.. whenever i bring my son to mcdonalds to play, he hasn't been sick (God forbid).. but then again, when we go there, usually the place isn't packed with kids.. However, recently, i ordered a chocolate milkshake for my son from McD's.. and I think about half hour after we left, i tasted the milkshake and it was getting to be pretty sour.. my husband tasted it and said it definitely wasn't fresh.. since the traffic jam in town was so bad, we couldn't go back and complain.. luckily, my son didn't get sick after that despite drinking almost 3 quarters of it..

I can honestly say I have never had a sour milkshake. I have seen them use the hollandaise sauce when it was past due date. Got to watch some of that stuff, sometimes they use things past due date if they are short on supplies and that is all they have.

No, luckily, we very very rarely go there anyway, but looking at the state of some of those play gyms there is no way that I would let my kids on there anyway.

there are going to be germs everywhere you go. my best advice is to start building up your families own resistance. i have been using echinacea drops on us and have been giving it to my daughter since birth. i can count the times she had any illness on one hand. and we go out a lot. and south africa is a dirty place.
