Have you started thinking about Christmas?

I try to pick things up throughout the year because my husband is flat rate and his paychecks are normally smaller in the winter.
I have also found some really good deals since it isn't the Christmas rush. If I can miss most of the rush it is so much more relaxing and I am able to find things I know people would like. I don't buy everything but it is nice to know I have som of it done.

I have started thinking about what to get for some people, but haven't bought anything yet. I love doing things early! Last year was the first time that I had all my shopping done by the first of December. I did pick up a few extras here and there though. It was nice having it all done! Going to try to make that a goal this year too.

I hope to have most of my shopping done by then too. I feel so accomplished if I have everything bought and just need to set aside time to wrap everything.
I am trying to think of ideas for everyone now. Also checking online for good deals so I can place an order and get some shopping done that way.

I am like you, I look for bargains all the time, and if I see something I want to give someone for a gift, and it s marked way down, I grab it up. i have a closet in my bedroom that is not big enough for our clothes, but my daughters closet is really big, so we share it, but the closet in my room is where I put all my goodies that I have picked up throughout the year. This last February, I was in Wal-Mart, and found and Cabbage Patch Kid that had been marked down to 12 dollars, and I thought

Wow, that is a great deal! I have a plastic bin I keep in the attic for things that it doesn't matter if it gets hot or not. If it has batteries we have a cubby under our bed and I keep that stuff there. I know it will get harder to hide stuff when they get older.
