I've never really cared for them myself - not sure why except I just haven't had them often as they are rather expensive here in Michigan.

Yes , I do like mangoes . I like it in juice form ,mango cake or in mango pudding and ice cream. The fruit flesh of a ripe mango contains about 15% sugar, up to 1% protein, and significant amounts of vitamins A, B and C. It is very sweet, with a unique taste. The texture of the flesh varies ; some have quite a soft and pulpy texture similar to an over-ripe plum, while others have a firmer flesh much like that of a cantaloupe or avocado, and in some the flesh can contain fibrous material. Mangoes are very juicy; the sweet taste and high water content make them refreshing to eat, though somewhat messy.

I love mangoes and my country and the place where I live is a top producer of mangoes. we could buy mangoes here that is way too much cheaper than any part of our country. There are different kinds of mangoes that I like and they are all yummy. The Philippines has the world record of having produced the sweetest mango in the world.

We have the same experience as far as mangoes are concerned. here in the Philippines, mangoes are also in abundance. In fact, I belong to a cooperative which is into mango production for now. And we will have harvest next month. My brother and I have also planted around 200 grafted mangoes in a highland area. We were able to harvest around 400 kilos last month. My mangoes are carabao variety so they are sweet and melty in taste -- one of the best in the whole world.

We have lots of mahoes int eh Philippines its eally affordable and is available all year round, you have no problem finding it. theres always an available mango that you can buy already peeled and with complete flavoring.
