What does "unresolved discussions" mean?

Does anyone know what the "unresolved" means in "my unresolved discussions"? I have a few in that category but I don't know what it means. They are the ones with just a couple of responses. Does that mean they need more comments before becoming "resolved"? Or does it mean I haven't picked a "best response"? Anyone know for sure?

An unresolved discussion is one which the person who started the discussion has yet to chose what the best answer is and thus the discussion remains open till they decide to end it by choosing the best answer :))

Thank you. I suspected this might be the case. Since my unresolved discussions are new and just have a few comments, I haven't chosen a best response yet.

What do you mean by 'end it' ?? Does that mean that no one else can post after a best response has been chosen?

As our friend above said, Unresolved Discussions are discussions without a best response. That usually means that the creator of the discussion doesn't have an answer to his "problem". Sometimes, people never choose best responses, so there are Unresolved Discussions forever.

I wait a bit of both. If I get no responses for over a week, the Best Response is given out.

Thank you. As I said above, I thought this might be the case. I will be sure to choose best responses. How long do you usually wait to make that choice? A certain length of time, or a certain number of responses?
