.....when I start a discussion and no one replies to it or maybe one or two people do.Then someone else syarts the same discussion the very next day or a few hours later and a bunch of people respond to it.I'm new to myLot.I have been here only about a week and a half.That makes me feel like that because someone else has been here longer that people will answer their question instead.Do you feel that way?Does this happen to you?

I experienced the same like you. Lately I have an interesting disucssions, but I got about 15 responses. Later someone else has this similar topic, but this one received over 35 replies. It's a little bit unfair but there is no way:) Maybe this one has more friends in Mylot and many people like to give responses.

Hi there I often wondered that my self until I read a few of them, for the most part it is because that person has a ton of friends that answer their discussions. and the more the discussion gets answered the more it appears in the discussion section. It is an odd way to run but no one can explain how or why mylot does things so I just roll with the punches. Keep at it it will come eventually.But I do understand you frustration.

Thanks for responding and your outlook on the matter RobinJ.I wish they would let us know what they expect.It would help everyone out.I think a different MyLot person from the power's that be views our stuff everyday.Some days,I earn better then other's and I have written more and better,yet earner less.

I think it just depends on the timing and if it is in view when people are on. There are 1000's of people posting discussions all the time. I have a couple of posts to where only a couple of people responded.
Don't give up, just keep trying! ;)

It has never happened to me yet..I have started a discussion and after posting it, I scroll down to similar posts to find out there is one similar, and I feel bad...I just had a thought and wanted to put it out there so I didn't take the time to research whether it was out there yet....It is not right to start something someone else has started...if it was months later that would be one thing, but a few hours, or even a day...I am sorry to hear this.....I would never look at someones discussion and then start the very same one.....that stinks.....

i dunno lol, maybe people fell they dont have to respond to yours...and they have to respond to other :p...
or maybe they just aren't around the time that you do yours...
im not sure :P lol
